For over fifteen years, Russ has concentrated his practice in real estate related matters including foreclosures, bankruptcy, building court, evictions, eminent domain, tax deeds, drug forfeiture, loss mitigation and REO closings. He has appeared on television, was featured in the Chicago Sun-times, is the author of many articles and has given numerous seminars on issues related to real estate, foreclosures and loss mitigation. His articles have appeared in the Illinois State Bar Association Newsletter, the Practical Real Estate Lawyer, and The American Bar Association Newsletter. In 1998, Russ was a featured speaker at the American Bar Association Annual convention in Toronto, Canada on loss mitigation. He has been a featured speaker on judicial foreclosure procedures and REO closings at several industry conferences throughout his career.
